From this weekend the new Callaway Big Bertha Fusion drivers and fairway woods are available to buy, or to try in pro shops around the country.
The Big Bertha name is synonymous with a larger sweet spot, and more forgiveness and distance for we mere mortal golfers, and the Big Bertha Fusion furthers Callaway’s drive toward these goals.

Weight saved through the use of aerospace-grade titanium in the Big Bertha Fusion driver’s Exo-Cage, along with an ultra-light triaxial carbon crown and sole, allowed Callaway engineers to shift weight to the side and rear of the clubhead.
Callaway has also enlarged the ‘sweet spot’ of the clubface.
All of this research and tech provides a more forgiving club, aerodynamics that allow more speed in the swing, and weapons to fight give golfers a draw shot, so it’s more distance all around.
The Big Bertha Fusion driver is available in 9°, 10.5°, and 13.5° lofts. There’s also a choice of two shaft lengths as a stock choice — 45.5″ for power, and 44.5″ for control, and either the UST Recoil, or the Mitsubishi Diamana Red brand.
And yes, the new driver does conform to USGA rules.

The Fusion fairway woods offer the same weight-saving and shifting as used in the driver. They are available in 3 Wood (15° loft), 5 Wood (18°), and 7 Wood (21°).
